Afterward, Ms. Wei Peng, an expert consultant of the Working Committee on the Rights and Interests of Cultural and Creative Industries, spoke on behalf of original art workers and practitioners. She provided examples of legal issues that commonly arise in their daily work, emphasizing the importance of laws and regulations for the development of their work. From an industry perspective, Ms. Peng suggested that young artists should establish a strong sense of documentation, enhance their copyright awareness, familiarize themselves with relevant laws and regulations, and take proactive measures to protect their rights and interests.

Ms. Sunny Guo, Secretary General of the Legal Committee on Brand Protection and IP Authorization of the Beijing Culture and Entertainment Law Association, analyzed issues related to the attribution of rights, infringement determination, evidentiary materials, and rights protection in the art world from a legal perspective. The audience engaged actively and posed questions about their own original works and the dilemmas they faced. Ms. Guo pointed out that before any cooperation, both parties need to clearly agree on the attribution of rights in the contract to avoid disputes or conflicts later. She also shared insights on evidence preservation, right proof of documents, and the definition of liability for infringement.

Law and compliance are essential components of the art and culture industries. To ensure the healthy and orderly development of these industries, the Working Committee on the Rights and Interests of Cultural and Creative Industries and the Legal Committee on Brand Protection and IP Authorization will offer art workers with one-stop legal services, including intellectual property rights confirmation, right authorization, and enforcement. In future work, they will actively engage in in-depth discussions and cooperation with art practitioners, striving to become a strong support for all original creators.
