GOLDENGATE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ZHONGGUANCUN CULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION SALON

In this dynamic and innovative era, the integration of culture and technology has become an undeniable trend. With the popularization of the IP licensing business model, many enterprises have begun to get involved in the IP licensing business. To better promote the development of cultural and technological integration, the Haidian Cultural Creative Industry Association, in conjunction with Xinhua Bookstore S-Mart Animation Themed Bookstore, S-Mart (Beijing) Cultural Creativity Co., Ltd., and the Beijing Cultural Entertainment Law Society’s Brand Protection and IP Licensing Legal Committee, is co-hosting a salon on the integration of culture and technology in Zhongguancun. GoldenGate Lawyers has been honored to receive an invitation to attend this cultural salon. This salon brought together industry experts and enterprise representatives to focus on current issues such as IP licensing-related laws, infringement, and rights protection cases. Participants jointly discussed risk management and legitimate rights protection methods in the development of the IP licensing industry.

Ms. Fei Jin, an Intellectual Property Consultant, and lawyer Jian Xin presented in-depth discussions centered around two themes: “Top-level Design of IP and Selection of Derivative Categories in the Cultural and Creative Industry” and “A Brief Discussion on Legal Issues to Be Noted in IP Licensing and the Cultural and Creative Industry”. Through this salon, the guests and audience present gained a clearer understanding of top-level design of IP and legal issues in the cultural and creative industry, and also accumulated valuable experience for future work.
