Profile

Lucy obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Management from Peking University, and her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from the John Marshall Law School in the United States. She is a co-author of Patent Law in Greater China, published by Edward Elgar Publishing (UK), and has published numerous articles on intellectual property in intellectual property journals.

With three decades of professional experience in the field of intellectual property, Lucy served as the head of the China Patent Department at several domestic and international law firms prior to joining GoldenGate. She excels at addressing complex, comprehensive intellectual property issues and providing clients with holistic solutions. Her core expertise lies in patent-related matters, including patent invalidation, patent administrative litigation, and infringement dispute resolution in the mechanical and industrial design sectors, as well as customs intellectual property recordation and other intellectual property protection areas. She is capable of formulating tailored intellectual property strategic plans aligned with clients’ business development goals from multiple perspectives.
